Ammonium Persulfate

We offer Ammonium Persulfate (NH4)2S2O8, which has been diligently formulated by H. Marshall. Manufactured using the same method used for preparing potassium persulfate, it is excessively soluble in cold water. It is an extremely strong radical initiator and oxidizing agent, and is usually utilized for the purpose of etching printed circuit boards with copper. This in turn, is an alternative to ferric chloride (FeCl3). It is also used to catalyze the polymerization of acrylamide, done in the making of polyacrylamide gel, along with tetramethylethylenediamine.
